Analysis of Letters of Endorsement
Credit for this page belongs to our statistician, Marge Innovera.
Letters of interest from school teachers, Principals and school board members, are a great way to prove to video project founders, that an eager audience exists for this video, in its preliminary, "pre-production" stage.
Many County Fish & Game Commissions, appointed by the County Board of Supervisors, consider these letters of interest from the teaching profession, as prerequisites for video production funding from the game wardens' fine money fund, per the terms of the California Fish & Game Code section 13103(a).
Please encourage your colleagues in the teaching profession, to support our search for video production funding, to send us letters simply expressing an interest in watching our completed video. If the video meets State educational standards, or can be tweaked to minimally meet educational standards, GREAT!
On top of this, we'll reach as many kids as possible through other distribution and broadcast channels. We believe that our future as retirees, living in the low rent boonies, depends on kids who will be motivated by this video to pursue careers where they can make a contribution to prevent, prepare for and mitigate these deadly suburban forest fires.
Please see teacher Alan Fisch’s letter below, for inspiration in writing that perfect letter of interest.

All of the above listed individuals and organizations have graciously sent letters of endorsement in favor of the creation of, or letters of support in favor of the funding of, The Cannonball Express. While most of these advocates are residents of Northern California, a few letters have come in from as far away as Montana and Australia.
When the pilot project is completed in the Fall of 2005, these stakeholders will receive a complementary copy of the video and an invitation to provide feedback. This will ensure that the deluxe versions of the video that we film in other counties around the Bay Area will be that much more accurate and enjoyable. We started distributing demo tapes to this select audience in February 2001 and by September 2001 this project was completed. We have added additional footage of native plants in response to their comments and criticisms.
This is not the only distribution list for the video but it should be the most influential. For the latest buzz on the video project please visit our Dream Book / Guest Book. Look for the link on the lower right side of our home page. Try scrolling down the home page a little if you can't find it.
